The Maryland SoccerPlex is proud to announce the Goalkeeper Clinic will continue indoors this Winter!  The next session will start Monday, November 24, 2008!!!  Nationally licensed NSCAA goalkeeper coach and former player of Club Tigres (Mexico), Andres Moreno, will be instructing the program.  Coach Moreno brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this specialized position.

Players of all levels are encouraged to register.  New players will learn basic fundamentals and experienced players will fine-tune their skills. 

Skills Taught:

• handling shots/ball gymnastics 
• reaction time
• distribution
• diving
• crosses
• break-aways
• balance
• communication
• footwork and plyometrics

Cost for 7-week Clinic (one class per week):

• 8-12 years old - $160/player

What to Bring:

• goalkeeper gloves
• soccer ball
• water
• cleats or turf shoes
• goalkeeper jersey and shorts - optional

Location:

• On the indoor soccer fields inside the Discovery Sports Center

About the Instructor:

• NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma (Level I, II and III)
• Currently coaches youth developmental programs and high school-aged players

Size of Clinic:

• A minimum of 4 players are required to hold the program
• Classes will contain no more than 12 players

Registration and Refund Policy:

• Register online
• Refund requests must be submitted prior to the first class
• If request is made prior to the first class, a refund will be given minus a $50 non-refundable administrative fee
• After first class, no refunds are given
• Refunds are not provided for missed classes
• If you miss a class, make-ups may be scheduled with a different class during the week (if possible)
