Summer Camps are back!
We are happy to offer our Summer camps for the Summer of 2021 to the youth of the DMV! We have 6 different camps and 10 weeks of camp for campers to choose from. We will be taking precautions again this year regarding COVID 19. As of right now, we will be implementing the same COVID 19 Policies and Procedures that we used in the Summer 2020 season. (listed below) Please note, these are subject to change based on the state and local mandates at the time of camp. We are committed to going above and beyond to provide your child a safe, fun place to go this summer - we know they need it!
Please note, we do have a new registration process this year, you can look further into this on the webpages for the specific camps.
COVID 19 Policies:
All registration must be done online to help prevent the need to pass in paperwork.
Smaller Groups: Groups of Campers will not exceed 10 campers. Each camper will stay in the same groups throughout the entire day.
Pick up and drop off: Curbside pick-up and drop-off will take place at the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse. Please note that parents/guardians are not permitted to exit their vehicles. Our staff will meet & greet you at your car.
Masks: All staff and campers will be required to wear facemasks.
Handwashing/Sanitize Breaks: Campers will be taken in groups to sanitize/wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds during breaks.
Lunch: Each child must bring their own lunch! The Café at Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse will remain closed!
Health screening: We will be screening our staff daily with temperature checks. Temperature checks in children have proven to be not useful, however, we do ask that you e-sign a consent form every day stating that your child has not been exposed to COVID 19 and does not exhibit any of its symptoms. **Campers under five years old and individuals with underlying medical conditions shall obtain clearance from their primary care physician before attending camp.
Cleaning/Sanitizing Equipment: Our staff will be routinely cleaning/sanitizing all equipment throughout the day.
Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of a storm, campers will be brought inside the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse for the duration of the storm. Each group will remain spaced out inside of the Fieldhouse to best practice social distancing. (Heat Advisory, Severe Thunderstorm, Tornado Watches, and Warnings).
